In the afternoon of May 14th 2016, the proprietor of HARIAN NUSANTARA visited School of International Relations Xiamen University. The signing ceremony and the forum would be held in the conference room 301(3) Nanan Building. Secretary of the Party Committee of the School Fan Li, associate Dean Shi Xueqin, member of the Party Committee of the School Lin Mei, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School Shen Lixiu attended the forum. The forum was host by the associate Dean Shi Xueqin.
Associate Dean Shi Xueqin extended her warm welcome towards Mr. Lin Hao, then Secretary of the Party Committee of the School Fan Li introduced school-running characteristics and advantages to Mr. Lin and his team. Meanwhile there were many students in our school majoring in international relations from Indonesia, which laid a solid foundation for mutual cooperation. Mr. Lin briefed teachers and students in the school of HARIAN NUSANTARA, and he also analyzed the history of Chinese newspapers in Indonesia thoroughly. He expressed that young blood was needed by Chinese newspapers in Indonesia, who would inherit Chinese culture and bring the China-Indonesia friendly relations to a new level.
The associate Dean Shi Xueqin thought that Indonesian society were experiencing great changes, which expended the requirement for compound talents. The promotions made by educated youth appeared progressively. This cooperation would promote relevant issues on discipline construction and talent training. In the same time, she expressed that curriculum for Southeast Asian language would be stricter. Also the school would deepen the understanding of relations between China and Indonesia, therefore push forward the unfolding of academic research and bilateral cooperation.
