Director of the School of International Relations/the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies at Xiamen University. Holding concurrent posts as Deputy President and Secretary-General of the China Association of Southeast Asian Studies; Deputy President of the Overseas Chinese History Society of China; Member of the China National Association for International Studies.

For Undergraduate Students: Modern History of International Relations, ASEAN and Asia-Pacific Security Studies, P.R.C’s Foreign Relations.

For Graduate Students: Theories and Practices of International Relations. 

For Doctoral Candidates: Monographic and Topical Studies of Chinese Foreign Relations.

Research Projects:

In the past 20 years, I have undertaken over 10 national and provincial level research projects such as “The relationship between Chinese and local ethnic groups in Southeast Asian countries”, “A study on the national separatist movement in Southeast Asia after World War II”.
