Houaphanh Revolutionary Museum construction kicks off

(KPL) March 15 witnessed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Houaphanh Provincial Revolutionary Museum and the renovation of Pha Deng Cave in Viengsay district, Houaphan province.

Also taking part in the groundbreaking ceremony were Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong and Prime Minister of Vietnam Nguyen Tan Dung. The construction of the provincial museum will be carried on 2,812 sq m of land by the Lao-Viet Bank.

The museum construction project aims to help people in the province and visitors have a place to study the history of the Lao PDR, the contribution by the Lao people and their leaders to the national freedom during the wartime back to decades ago, as well as the history of the Lao People�s Revolutionary Party.
